Ella Foust

Minister Ella Mae Rice Roshell Foust, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in a local hospital.She was a graduate of Howard High School Class of 1963. She was employed for 25 years at SCT and retired from Dixie Yarns. She also worked with Rainbow Daycare. She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an Associate Minister, was a member of the choir, Sunday School Ministry and Someone to Care Ministry. She was also an Associate Minister at Christian Fellowship C.P. Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and Carrie Rice;sister, Nora Crutcher; and husband, James Foust. Survivors include sons, Winfred (Pamela) Roshell, of Atlanta, and Orlando Roshell, Sr., of Chattanooga; daughters, Tawaina Roshell (Kevin) Thomas, of Harrison and Bridget Roshell, of Nashville and Yolanda Foust, of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren, Eric (Alexis) Hughes Jr., of Chattanooga, LaToya Roshell, of Nashville, Orlando Roshell Jr., Quintasia Walker, both of Chattanooga, Cameron Roshell, of Atlanta, Sasha Golden, Destiney Golden and Danielle Golden, all of Chattanooga; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert L. (Catrina) Rice, of Chattanooga and Thomas (LaRita) Rice, of Jonesboro, Ga.; sister, Mary L. Usher, of Chattanooga; uncle, Charlie Foust, of Athens, Ga.; aunts, Hattie Mae Smith and Katrina Smith, both of Huntsville, Ala.; devoted niece/caregiver, Latonia Herman; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Jackson as the eulogist.Burial: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
