Jr.JASPER John Leslie Lewis, Jr., 68, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.John retired from Tennessee Valley Authority after many years of service, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe. He was preceded in death by his father, John Leslie Lewis Sr. Survivors include his mother, Winona Lewis, of Rossville; spouse, Martha Lewis, of Fort Oglethorpe, Melissa Lewis-Reyes, of Ringgold, Nathan Lewis, of Tunnel Hill; brothers, Bill Lewis, of Rossville, Richard Lewis, of Red Bank; grandchildren, Jaylin Reyes, Aggie and Gibson Lewis; several nieces and nephews.Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Billy Dean officiating.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.Family will receive friends from noon until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
