ROSSVILLE Mattie Faye Allen, 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.Faye was born in Rainsville, Ala., to the late Jake and Dee Bohannon and was owner/operator of several restaurants in the area.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Vern Allen; and grandson, Thomas Sharp.Survivors include her children, Theresa Sharp, Donna Cross, James Sharp, all of Rossville, Robert Sharp, of Ringgold, Tammie Graham, Sheila Powell, both of Chickamauga; siblings, Ruby Collins, of Flintstone, Mary Loudermilk, Warren (Wanda) Bohannon, Burlen (Carolyn) Bohannon, all of Rainsville, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Londyn, Cameron, Kyler; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with the Rev. Neal Powell officiating.Family will receive friends from 4 until 9 p.m. today and prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.Interment will follow at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
