Jerry Wayne Lynn, 62, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at his home.He enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, music and his family and friends. He was of the United Methodist faith and was employed by UNUM and a former employee of CPI Sales.He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Lynn and Ethel "Tootsie" Lynn Elliott and sister, Doris Higgins.Survivors include his brother, Steven (Brenda) Lynn; sisters, Sharon Kniat, Carleen Zalabak and Beverly (Jeff) Markle; several nieces, nephews and loving friends.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating.Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. today and from noon Saturday until the funeral hour in the funeral home.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
