Harold Neville

Jr.Harold Neville Jr., 60, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012. He was a resident of Chattanooga area for over 45 years and a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. He began Crime Stoppers on WRCB-TV 3 in 1988. Harold retired from the city of Chattanooga Police Department with 25 years of service. After his retirement he was actively involved in rebuilding classic cars.He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Winston Neville Sr. in 1975.Survivors are his wife, Libby Neville; mother, Helen Neville; stepson, Grant Tucker, Springfield, Mo.; sister, Deanie (Manning) Head, Soddy-Daisy; brother, Randy (Jill) Neville, Seattle, Wash.; nephews, Chris Head, Soddy-Daisy, Eric and Michael Helke, Seattle, Wash.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Sheriff Jim Hammond, Rodney Rollins and Paul Lee officiating.Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Mike Nelson, Michael Hall, Joe Lamb, Kenny McCrary, Bill Zinkler and Charlie Cox will serve as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers will be City of Chattanooga Police Department Crime Stopper Board and all surrounding law enforcement agencies in cooperation with Crime Stoppers.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice or The American Cancer Society.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Visitation will be 5 -8 p.m. today and noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 423- 877-3524.
