Charlotte Bowman

Charlotte Beatrice Bowman, 89, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church of Chattanooga and retired from Standard Coosa Thatcher with 40 years of service.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Bowman; sons, Leon Jones and David Jones; son-in-law, Tony Casson.Left to cherish her memory, David (Linda) Bowman, Cindy Casson; grandchildren, Bob (Cynthia) Bowman, Jean (Don) Mangum, Beth (Sam) Tait, Scott (Jenny) Bowman, Ben (Lee Anna) Bowman, Heather (Jason) Holmes and Joshua (Vickie) Casson; 17 great-grandchildren; step-brother, Bill McMahan; and stepsister, Ruth Bailey; several cousins and special neighbors, Carl and Betty Kile.The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the Highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the graveside in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Brother Lee Fick officiating.Interment will follow.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga @ 4411 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN 37416, or to your favorite charity.Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 chapel 622-3171.
