Judy Lowrance

Judy Lowrance, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at her home.She grew up in Nashville, and was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. Judy moved to Chattanooga approximately 35 years ago. She began a career in advertising in Nashville, and continued that career upon moving to Chattanooga where she was employed by Williams/Ripple and Lindsay, Bradley and Johnson in Chattanooga. She established her own advertising agency, The Logan Agency, in 1978, and operated it until 2002 when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She fought a long and hard battle with the disease until Tuesday of this week.She was a past president of the Chattanooga Advertising Federation and a recipient of the Silver Metal Award. Her clients included Clark Brothers Furniture, Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Chattanooga Lookouts, Newton Chevrolet, Newton Oldsmobile/Mitsubshi, and many others.She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert H. and Bessie C. Manss.She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Richard E. Lowrance; sons, John (Starr) Logan and David (Erica) Lescher; stepsons, Eddie (Pam) Lowrance and David (Maria) Lowrance; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday and the family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Lee Highway.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family.Memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society, Mid South Chapter, 214 Overlook Circle, Ste. 153, Brentwood, TN 37027.Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
