Willie Brooks

Willie Frazier Brooks, 75, of Chattanooga, went to be with her Lord at 4:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.She was a member of East Chattanooga Church of God for 58 years, where she loved the children and taught Sunday school for over 45 years until her health declined. Willie loved to listen to the church choir, would often sing with the choir and the ladies trio when she could. She was a very loving and giving person, who always cared more for others than herself. Willie was a former employee with Simco Saddle Co. and retired from Brock Candy Co.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.Willie is survived by her three brothers, Ralph, G.C. and Pat Frazier, all of Chattanooga; four sisters, Edna Roberts and Edith Floyd, of Chattanooga, Ruth Page, of Trenton, Ga., and Monnie Smith, of Farber, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend, Jalila Cunningham, of Ooltewah.The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home and at the church from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.Services for Willie will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at East Chattanooga Church of God with Rev. Don Stovall, Rev. Don Glenn and Pastor Fred Smith officiating.Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
