Danny Harris

Larry "Danny" Harris, 72, of Chattanooga, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lora Harris. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and is retired from Polysar Latex. He was a member of the Harrison Masonic Lodge where he was a 32nd degree Mason, as well as a Shriner.Survivors include his wife, Judy Sullivan Harris; three children, Jeff, Eddie and Susan Harris; two grandsons, Steven Harris and Taylor Norto; brother, Melvin Harris, of Atlanta; and his first great-grandchild, Eric Daniel Harris. He is also survived by his wifes three daughters and their eight children.A celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors. The family will gather with friends on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
