Garry Thompson

Garry "HUB" Thompson, 63 went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 he was of the Baptist faith. He leaves behind a family who loved him and will miss him greatly. He was a loving husband, son, brother and grandfather. He was "GG" to his grandchildren who will miss his love and laughter. He was the owner of American Wrecker Installations, Ooltewah, Tn. He was a Vietnam veteran serving from 1969 to 1971. He was awarded six medals during his time of service. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar racing, motorcycles and rebuilding his corvette. He is survived by his wife, Therese Montoya Thompson; his parents, Willard and Ruth Thompson; one sister and spouse Patricia West (Ralph); one brother and his spouse, Mark Thompson (Lisa); He is also survived by his daughter and spouse Michele Archuleta Arnold (Kerry); his three grandchildren, Gabriel Archuleta, Isaiah Arnold and Adrian Arnold. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, Nov. 26, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
