Hazel Hornbuckle

PALMER Hazel Irene Hornbuckle, 93, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 22, 2012.She attended Palmer United Methodist Church. She was born in Palmer on May 10, 1919 to Isham and Bessie Tate Roberts who preceded her in death along with her husband, Charles Jessie Hornbuckle; sisters, Wavie McGovern, Clara Cummings and Margaret Mayer; brothers, Roy, Paul and Gene Roberts. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Stephen) Andrews, Lilburn, Ga.; son, Carl (Patricia) Hornbuckle, Gruetli-Laager; sisters, Alice Matthews, Conyers, Ga.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of loving nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Brother John Kennedy and Brother Glen Hornbuckle officiating with burial to follow in Palmer Cemetery.Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tenn. www.laynefuneralhome.com
