Lona Woody

EVENSVILLE Lona Edna Woody, 94, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Standifer Gap Hospice.She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, and was of the Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by parents, John and Bertha Ferry Douglas; daughter, Evelyn Woody; three brothers, Roscoe, Robert and Ray Douglas.Survivors include two sons, Lenell and Charles Woody, all of Evensville; two daughters, Bertha (Norman) Holland, Dayton, Tenn., Faye (Jerry) Masengale, Evensville; sister, Margie Marler; brother, Ralph Douglas, all of Evensville; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.Burial in Buttram Cemetery.Visitation 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
