Donald Sweeney

Donald W. Sweeney, of Hixson, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.Donald served our country in the Naval Reserves for eight years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and brother.Donald is survived by his wife, Beverly Holt Sweeny; daughter, Terri (husband, Greg) Lane and their daughter, Rachael; son, Steven (wife, Laurie) Sweeney and their children, Erika, Stormy and Blake; sister, Rita Stinson; several cousins.The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 27, at the North Chapel.Services for Donald will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the North Chapel with Pastor Fred Steelman officiating.Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors.
