Margaret Hudson

Margaret Smith Hudson, 89, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 1012.She was born in Gasden, Ala. on May 22, 1923.She is the widow of Kendrick B. Hudson and the daughter of the late Warren and Josephine Smith. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her two sons, K.B. "Rick" (Constance) Hudson Jr. and Warren (Lori) Hudson; and three grandchildren, Kendell Hudson, Rebekah "Ronnie" Hudson and K.B. "Bailey" Hudson III, all of Chattanooga. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Ralph Breeden of Gasden; and her brother, Warren Smith, of Denver, Colo.She attended Sullins Jr. College in Bristol, Va., and the University of Alabama where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. After college, she worked for Delta Airline until her marriage. She was a member of the Lookout Mountain Golf Club and the Woodland Garden Club. She was also a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where she taught Sunday School and served on the Altar Guild. She also volunteered at Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at the Church of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church with Rev. Robert Childers officiating.Visitation will be at 11 am in the Parish Hall.Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice, the Salvation Army or your favorite charity.Arrangements made by Wann Funeral Home.
