Sheryle Gould

Sheryle D. Gould, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, surrounded by loving family.Kind, giving, and possessing a heart of gold, Sheryle was known to do anything for anyone. A loving wife and mother, Sheryle was married 28 years to the love of her life, Eddie Gould. Together, they raised the light of their life, Alysha. As a member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church, Sheryle actively served on the usher board until the time of her passing. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Tucker Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Raised in Chattanooga, she attended Riverside High School and began a successful career in Human Resources at Erlanger Hospital, and retired from Regions Bank as a vice president in Human Resources in January 2011. Through church and her career in Human Resources, Sheryle was able to enrich the lives of others with her kind ways and always-upbeat personality. She always enjoyed spending time with family, and especially her grandchildren! Sheryle was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and she was a blessing to anyone she met.Sheryle is survived by husband, Eddie L. Gould; daughter, Alysha (Quantel) Rolle; sister, Glenda Lyons; brother, Sammy Smith; brother-in-law, Gerald Webb Sr.; stepdaughter, Catrell (Freddie) Burns; stepson, Gerald Gould; grandchildren, Jahvonne and Saniyah Rolle, Jessica Buchanan, Cameron Gould, Fredinisha Burns, Fredrelana Burns, Amiah Gould, Israel Gould, Niah Gould and Jordan Gould; sisters-in-law, Lynette Vann and Montie (Roger) Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friend, Mattie Green.She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty J. Smith; loving father, Samuel Smith Sr.; sisters, Flora J. Parker and Barbara J. Webb; and brother-in-law, Charles Parker Sr.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Rice as the eulogist.Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
