Bettie Webster

Bettie C. Webster, 93, formerly of Columbia, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in a local health care facility.She retired from Maury Regional Hospital. She was a faithful member of Burn Springs Church of Christ in Columbia. After relocating to Chattanooga with her daughter, she faithfully attended East Third Street Church of Christ until her health failed.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Webster; and two sons, Eldridge Webster and Willie Charles Webster.Survivors include one son, James Thomas Webster, of Columbia; one daughter, Patricia (Chet) Kato, of Chattanooga; stepchildren, George Booker, Forrest Booker, Addie Mae Gray and Eva Jane Neal; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Hattie Ruth Sewell Webster of Evanston, IL and Martha Ann Webster of Spring Hill, Tenn.; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Visitation will also be on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CST) with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. (CST) at Carmack Boulevard Church of Christ, 2111 Carmack Boulevard, Columbia, Tenn., with Brother Nelson Wilson as the officiant and Brothers Charles Beaman and John R. Taylor Sr. giving words of comfort.Burial: Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Tenn.
