Freddie Childress

Freddie Dewayne Childress, 56, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, with his family by his side in a Knoxville hospital. Freddie was born March 6, 1956 to the late James Edwin Hill Sr. and Laquata Patricia Chapman Hill. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Edward Childress.He is survived by his children, Tanya (James) Childress Raines, Jeremy (Lindsay) Dewayne Childress and Derek Allan Childress; his sister, Glenda Hill Bonner; and his brother, James (Paula) Edwin Hill Jr.; his grandchildren, James Raines Jr., Erica Childress and Trinity Raines; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, with a memorial service immediately following at 4 p.m. with Elder Franklin Hill officiating.The visitation and memorial service will be held at Rock Spring Community Baptist Church, located at 145 Pinoak Drive, Rock Spring, GA 30739.Send condolences at www.CovenantFuneral.com.Arrangements are by Covenant Funeral & Crematory, Crox family owned and operated.
