Gary Miller

Gary W. Miller, 64, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at his home with his loving family by his side.He attended Lupton Drive Baptist Church.Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran with one tour in Vietnam earning 3 Bronze Stars. He received a BS degree in Business from Middle Tennessee State University.Gary was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather, or "Da", as the babies called him.He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Norene Miller.Survivors include his wife of 43 years Sara Miller; sons, Woody (Mary) Miller, Jody (Jennifer) Miller, Kevin (Chastidy) Miller, Patrick Miller and Dewayne Ashford, who was loved like a son; Special neighbors, Pat and Arlene Burdette; five grandchildren, Nick, Preston, Savannah, Audrey and Trey; brother-in-law, Jack Sanders; sister-in-law, Kim Sanders, of Murfreesboro; and several very special nieces and nephews.Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, from 2 8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
