Margaret Stevens

Margaret Lucile Johnston Stevens, 98, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.Margaret was a loving, caring and devoted hard working mother who worked for many years in the motel industry at various jobs in the gift shops and at World Sales.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Stevens; son, Thomas Edward Stevens; parents, Jr. R. and Mamie Johnston; and sisters, Kathleen Gault and Billie Johnston.Margaret is survived by her sons, Robert R. Stevens, Charles Eugene Stevens and James W. Stevens; daughter, Delores Jane Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.The family offers their appreciation to Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and kind support given to Margaret during her illness.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.Graveside services for Margaret will be held at 10 a.m. today at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev.
