Ray Roberts

William Ray Roberts, 77, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, in a local hospital.He was a resident of Chattanooga for over 50 years and was a member of First Baptist Church, Golden Gateway. Mr. Roberts was employed by Mueller Co. for many years.He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Roberts Hoback.Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Elizabeth Roberts; daughter, Debbie Hixson, of Chattanooga; and son, Bill (Gretchen) Roberts, of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, David Foster Hixson, Brittany Roberts and Samantha Roberts; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
