Betty Combs

Betty L. "Granny" Combs, 79, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn Gould and Bill Henderickson; sister, Katherine Norell; and brother, Billy Henderickson.She is survived by her loving family that include her husband of 57 years, Jimmy R. Combs; sons, Michael T. Benton, Jimmy A. Combs and Eddy L. Combs; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other family members.Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Terry Evans officiating. Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
