NEW HOPE Dorothy Blevins Peoples, 88, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.The daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin and Emmaline Massengale Blevins, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Vince Peoples. A member of Kimball Baptist Church, she was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.She is survived by her children, Dean (Wilma) Peoples, of New Hope, Jimmy Dale (Carolyn) Peoples, of Conley, Ga. and Teresa (Charlie) McClain, of New Hope; grandchildren, Robert (Robin) McClain, Vince Peoples, Tammy (Rocky) Sutherland, Dale (Shea) Peoples, Jamie (Adam) Stovall and Ashley Peoples; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Isabelle Durham and Pat Keef and a brother, Gordon Blevins.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at with Rev. Troy Luttrell officiating.
