Ruby Grimsley

Ruby Varner Grimsley, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. She was a member of the Soddy United Methodist Church.Her husband, Harold K. Grimsley; infant son, Danny R. Grimsley; parents, Arwin A. and Dora Isles Varner and a brother, A.C. Varner, preceded her in death.She is survived by her sons, Johnny Grimsley, Mark Grimsley, M.D.; granddaughters, Kari "Fancy" Grimsley Dedmon, Katie Grimsley, Karla Grimsley; great-granddaughters, Kerrigan "Rosie" Raper, Ava Grace Dedmon, Emma, Alice, Imaan and two sisters, Robbie Dean Lively and Jessie Garner.Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, graveside in Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Reverend Barry Kidwell officiating.
