RISING FAWN Clifton Edward Cagle Sr., 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.He was born in Huntsville, Ala., to the late James Edward and Vera Pendergrass Cagle. Clifton proudly served his country in the US Army and retired from E.I. DuPont after 40-plus years of service. He was a member of Rising Fawn United Methodist Church, a loving husband, father and grandfather.Clifton was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clifford Cagle; and sisters, Berthena Cagle and Inez Coppinger.Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Virginia K. Cagle; sons, Eddy Cagle, Philip (Shirley) Cagle and Mark (Leisa) Cagle; and grandchildren, Jason (Misty) Cagle, Jessica Cagle, Lauren (Seth) Anderton, Lindsay (Michael) Miller, Leanna (Andrew) Marshall; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Oena Bledsoe and Jane Gentry, several nephews, and niece.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, April 18, 2013, in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.Interment will be held in Hannah Cemetery.Visitation 5 p.m. -7 p.m. EDT today; and 1-2 p.m. Thursday.Please leave your memories and prayers at www.moorefuneralhometrenton. com.Arrangements by Moore Funeral Home, Trenton, Ga.
