Hazel Cross

CHICKAMAUGA Hazel Davis Cross, 88, passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at her residence. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia, Chattanooga area she was a former employee of Red Food where she worked as a cashier and was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Cross, of Chickamauga, Ga.; two children, Nina (Glen) Trundle, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Bill (Gail) Davis, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two step-children, Beverly (Jim) Bennett, of Blue Ridge, Ga., and Dianne Walton, of Canton, Ga.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Chris Morgan and Glen Trundle officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home J. Avery Bryan Chapel Chickamauga, Georgia.
