LeBron Gass

ROSSVILLE T. LeBron Gass 78, went home to be with the Lord Sunday April 21, 2013.He was a native of Trenton Ga., a son of the late Lawrence Milton and Bessie Dawkins Gass. Mr. Gass was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from DuPont after more than 38 years of service. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and loved working in his yard. His beautiful yard was an envy of the neighborhood and he enjoyed home improvement projects.Mr. Gass loved his grand kids very much.He was a avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved NASCAR. Survivors are his loving wife Barbara Ivens Gass; daughter and son in law Denise and Dan Trueblood, of McDonald, Tenn.; brothers Gene Gass and Larry (Pam) Gass, of Ooltewah, John (Brenda) Gass, of Rock Spring, Ga. and David (Lavonne) Gass, of Southerlin, Ore.; Loving grandchildren Lane, Lexi, Luke, Trueblood, of McDonald, Tenn.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, with the Rev. Tracy Bass and the Rev. Joe Buffington officiating.
