Johnny Shetter

Johnny Carl Shetter, 48, of Falling Water, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013.Johnny loved his wife, children and grandchildren deeply. He was a member of Falling Water Baptist Church. He was a 1983 graduate of Red Bank High School and was a dedicated employee at AT&T for the past 16 years. Johnny was a decorated Sargent of the United States Army serving in the 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, N.Y. and a member of Bravo Company 710th Battalion. He was also an avid deer hunter.He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Darrell Shetter.Johnny is survived by his wife, Janie Shetter; three children, Ashley (Kurt Carter Jr.) Shetter, Jonathan Shetter, Darrell Bridges; mother, Eva Jo Shetter; brother, Jimmie Darrell "Dale" Shetter Jr.; sister, Kelly Shetter Burt; grandchildren, Sonny Carter, Miles Carter and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. today, April 23, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Keith Owensby and Kenny Johnson officiating.Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
