Carolyn Vaughn

Carolyn Marie Raines Vaughn, 59, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.She was of the Baptist faith. Carolyn was the assistant supervisor for Environment Services at Wells Springs Retirement Home.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Marie Allender; sister, Dianne Raines Hindman; and brother, Steven Allen Raines.Survivors include her husband, Richard Vaughn; son, William Leon Allender; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Lynn and Julie Allender; parents, Mary Katherine and Leon Raines; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Doris Raines; brother, Ronnie Parker; grandchildren, Kaden and Brianna Allender; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery.Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Special thank you to the PACE program of Alexian Brothers for all their care and assistance.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
