Steve OrrSteven "Yank" Orr, 48, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at his residence.He was born to James Orr and Ethel Graham Orr Linam on Dec. 25, 1964. He was employed at Tall Pines Estates for 24 years. He was cherished, loved and considered family by all that lived in Tall Pines Estates. He was of the Baptist faith.He was preceded in death by his father, James Orr; and grandmother, Emma Nail.He is survived by his mother, Ethel Linam, of Soddy-Daisy; aunts, Geral Vandergriff, of Chattanooga, and Bobbie Cartwright, of Scotts, Mich.; brother, Louis Vernon Orr and wife, Billie Sue, of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Lisa Tallent, of Chattanooga, and Gloria Kennedy, of Soddy-Daisy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Carter officiating.Interment will follow in Granny Walker Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Ray Cox, Bill Farmer, Joe Demary, Stevie Orr, Shane Orr and Danny Lewis.
