Mary Morgan

RINGGOLD Mary Eberhart Morgan, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at the age of 73.She was a native of Fort Payne, Ala., and had resided in Ringgold, for the last 35 years. Mary was a wonderful wife and loving mother. She was a joyful and fun person to be around and her beautiful smile could light up anyones day. She had a strong Christian faith which showed in her graceful spirit as she went through life's difficulties. She was of the Baptist faith.Preceeding her in death were her parents, Mabel Johnson Eberhart and William Love Eberhart.She left behind her devoted husband of 54 years, Howard R. Morgan; her children, Lori West (David), Lisa Black and Ed Morgan (Saundra); her six grandchildren, Ciera, David, Tori, Jacob, Nathan and Gracie; four great-grandchildren, Layla, Darrell, Lucy and Jayce. She also leaves behind her sister, Caroline Ruth Nappier, Birmingham, Ala.; brothers, Hugh Eberhart (Bernice), Charles Eberhart (Imogene), and Harold Eberhart (Sarah), of Fort Payne, Ala.; brother-in-law, Charles Morgan, of Rising Fawn, Ga.;, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the Lifechoice Hospice staff and especially Katie and Christy for the loving care they gave her the last few weeks.Homegoing services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Vincent Estill officiating.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort with the family and view the memorial tribute.The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
