ROSSVILLE Ruby L. Gilliam, 88, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013 in a local healthcare facility.She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Gilliam; parents, Hubert and Emma Maynor; and brothers, Hoyt, Abby and Billy Jack Maynor.She is survived by her four children, Garland (Juanita) Gilliam, Wanda (Charles) Shell, Charlotte (Robert) Ladd and Denny "Dennis" (Judy) Gilliam; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Morgan; brothers, M. L. and Kenny Maynor; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.comFuneral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Camp officiating.
