Doris Morrison

DAYTON Doris McClure Jordan Morrison, beautiful spirit, body and soul left this earthly realm on Thursday Aug. 29, 2013.Doris was a mother and homemaker all of her life. She worked at Wal-Mart in her later years and was known as the "Hat Lady". She witnessed for Jesus Christ to every one she came in contact with and prayed for family, friends, and world leaders and those less fortunate for hours at a time daily.Preceded: first husband, Maurice E. Jordan, second husband, Rauleigh Morrison; parents, Lloyd and Frances Barger McClure; 4 brothers, Maynard, Lester, Ray, and Jerry McClure; sister, Carrie Davis; beloved nephews Larry McClure and Wesley Gurley.Left behind to carry on her prayer vigil are two daughters, Debbie (Carey) Fite, Fran Jordan; 3 sons, Rick, Joe, and Dan Jordan; 4 sisters, Helen McClure, Naomi Goins, Rosa Arnold, and Vickie Napier. She was loved and will be sorely missed by 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many beloved nieces and nephews.Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Aug. 31, in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Ruehling and the Rev.
