Thomas William Smith, 32, of Hixson, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.He was born Dec. 21, 1980 to Phillip and Ronda Smith nee-Reed.Thomas was predeceased by his grandparents, Jack and Willie Reed, of McMinnville, Tenn., and William C. and Helen Ann Smith, of Red Bank; and also his stepfather, Michael L. Swafford, of Chattanooga.Survivors include his mother Ronda P. Hearon-Swafford, of Chattanooga; his father Phillip Clifton Smith, of East Ridge; his stepdad, Norman L. Hearon, of Ooltewah; brothers, James Clay Smith, Jimmy Ray Smith, Jerry Lee Smith, Alan L. Hearon (Haley Bug) and Adam L. Swafford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.A private memorial service was previously held.
