Carl Hamlin

Carl "Bill" R. Hamlin, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. Bill was a veteran of the US Navy and served in WWII. He is survived by his wife JoAnne; son Scott and wife Cissy; and grandson Charlie, of Birchwood, Tenn.; daughter, Tara, of Chattanooga; sister, Sue Oliver, of Wildwood, Ga.; step-daughter Michele and her husband John; and step-son John. A graveside service will be held on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Sarah's Chapel Cemetery in Wildwood, Georgia. Bill will be remembered for his strength of character and commitment to his family.
