Jane Gentry

Ella Jane Gentry, 88, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Rossville Junior High School where she was the cafeteria manager for over 20 years. Jane loved crafts and was very active with craft shows. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. "Jim" Gentry; parents, James and Vera Cagle and two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her son, James E. "Jimmy" Gentry Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Glenda Bonine and her husband, Gary, of Spring City; grandchildren, Christie Henley and her husband, Todd, Amy Bonine, Chuck Bonine and his wife, Martie and Jeff Gentry; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, with the Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will follow at National Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Monday Dec. 2, at the funeral home.
