Janice Ainsworth

Janice Rozzelle Ainsworth, 66, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where she worked as a system's analyst with Suntrust Bank and had also worked at Cigna. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish in East Ridge and her passions in life were her faith and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Ainsworth, Sr. "John Deere"; and parents, Clarence "Pete" and Lodema Rozzelle. Survivors include her children, John H. Ainsworth, Jr., of Richmond, Va., and Jennifer "Missy" Ainsworth, of Rossville, Ga.; sister, Jeanne Padgett, of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 3, at 10:30 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
