Barbara Davis

Barbara Jo Davis, 56, on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2013, the Lord opened His arms to receive her into His rest. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie James Seals. She leaves behind the love of her life, Charles Davis of 37 years; her mother, Josephine Jackson; two sisters Deborah and Lisa McClendon; four brothers, James Seals, Ricky McClendon, Michael McClendon and Marvin McClendon. Left with their cherished memories of this loving giving and wonderful woman include sons, Jerry Lee McMath Jr., Antonio (Evelyn) McMath, Marico Davis; and daughters, Shimeal King and Catonya McMath. A loving grandmother, she also leaves grandchildren, Eric McMath, Shamiko Davis, Jerry McMath III, Jerrquita McMath, Edward King, Jalen Smith, Andrew McMath, Christian McMath and Aaron McMath, Tyler Davis, Christian Davis, Jared Walker; and great-granddaughter, Jyonna McMath; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, with the Rev. Ronald Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Hills Cemetery. Visitation is on from noon-7 p.m. today, Dec. 4, 2013.
