Glenda Wilson

Glenda L. Wilson, 91, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013. She was a graduate from Howard High Class of 1940. She was also a faithful member of Prospect Baptist Church. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Jehu Jarrett and Della Jarrett Clark, and nephew Freddie Dave. Glenda is survived by daughter Verrita E. King; sons, Charles Wilson, Jehu (Karen) Wilson, all of Chattanooga; sister, Mary Ruth Hester; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephew; and special friend, Janet Muckle Moore. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Dec. 4, 2013, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, Highway 153, Hixson. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. J.P. Trimble officiating.
