Lois Odom

Lois Evelyn Odom, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. She was born to the late Agnes and Clyde Lusk on Dec. 7, 1926 in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Lois earned a degree from Lincoln Memorial University and worked for 21 years at the Chattanooga City Board of Education. She was a mother, grandmother and friend who cherished life and her family. A lady, patient loving soul, and by us all she will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by two children, John (Connie) Odom, Brian Odom , all of Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Johnna Odom (Byron) Shultz, Phoenix, AZ; Zac (Adina Ottilie) Odom, Chattanooga. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday Dec. 16, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Hansen officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, of a charity of choice.
