Thomas Morrow

Thomas Eldridge Morrow, 60, of Birchwood, passed away, Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, in a Rhea County hospital. He retired from W.R. Grace Chemical and attended Grasshopper Road Church of God. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed playing golf, bowling and tennis. He enjoyed farming and loved taking care of his cows. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lester Morrow. He is survived by his wife, Karen Morrow, of Birchwood; mother, Johnnie Louise Morrow, of Harrison; granddaughter, Mary Amanda Bolduc, of Birchwood; siblings, Jerry "Sissy" Gross and husband, Billy and Charles F. Morrow and wife, Brenda, all of Harrison; four nieces and three great-nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. George Angel officiating. Interment will follow in Grasshopper Road Church of God Cemetery with Frank Friddell Sr., Frank Friddell Jr., Steve Gentry, Mike Friddell, Nick Friddell and Andy Jewell serving as pallbearers.
