Cliff Land

Stephen "Cliff" Clifford Land, 42, of Riceville, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold, Chattanooga area, Cliff was self-employed for 10 years as a painter and faux finisher and was a member of Nellie Head Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Red" and Betty "Honey" Land; and stepbrother, Josh Moses. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Steve and Janice Land, of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; mother and stepfather, Kathryn "Kat" and Glenn Moses, of Athens, Tenn.; brother, Colin Land of Riceville, Tenn.; stepsister, Heather Moses, of Athens, Tenn.; aunt and uncle, Denise and Sammy Phillips, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held noon Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Shadwick officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-9 p.m. and Monday until funeral time at the funeral home. An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
