Manuel Watson

Manual Lee Watson, 70, of Harrison, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He retired from the Chattanooga Fire Department after 32 years of service and was a member of the International Fire Fighters Union #820 along with the, F.O.F.F. Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. and Vera Watson; one son, Manual L. Watson Jr.; and one brother, Johnny Watson. He is survived by one son, John (Christy) Watson, of Harrison; two stepdaughters, Amy Harbin (Emile) Hamm and Jenifer Harbin (Lonnie) Smith, all of Georgia; two sisters, Sharon Judkins, of Harrison and Mitzi Stokes, of Florida; three grandchildren, Jordan, Chloe and Caili; four step-grandchildren, Pheriba, Zachary, Jadie and Mary; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Dec. 21, at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guest book @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec 23, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. There will be no visitation on Sunday. Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel 622-3171.
