Ronald Miller

Ronald Anderson Miller, 78, of Signal Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013. Ronald served as a deacon at Mount Carmel Baptist Church and retired from ABB Combustion Engineering after 30 years. He served as county commissioner for Sequatchie County. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar with family and friends. He was a member of the Just Country Band. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Ethel Miller; brothers, Gilbert and C L Miller; sisters, Opal Tyler and Mary Jane Humble. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Celeste Ann Miller; children, Teresa (Eddie) Camp, Anthony Miller, Melinda (Rob) Payne, all of Signal Mountain, Meredith (Ray) Fowler, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren; Tara (Brent) Coleman, Josh (Jordan) Camp, Jeremy (Jessica) Miller, Nichole Miller, Brent, Scott, Savannah Payne, Ray, Katelyn, Gracie, and Alex Fowler; great-grandchildren, Payton Coleman, Ben and Meg Ledford, Nora and Aron Miller, Kaylee Seals; brother, Donald (Joyce) Miller; sisters, Connie Holloway, Sandra (Stacy) Seals and Roxie Jones; brother-in-law, Ray Humble; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Granger officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on from 4-8 p.m. today and from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
