Katherine Markum

Del. Katherine Lucille Boston Markum, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away at home Monday, Nov. 23, 2013. Born in Dunlap, Tenn., on July 3, 1925, Lucille was the daughter of the late George and Corene Harman Boston. She was a homemaker and will be missed by family and friends. Surviving are her son, Larry C. Markum and his wife Karen of Newark; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence H. Markum; and her brother George T. Boston; and her sister Rosa Lee Degler. A graveside memorial service will be held at White Oak Cemetery in Red Bank, TN on Saturday Dec. 28, at Noon.
