Robbie Cothran

Robbie Nelson Cothran, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. She was a retired LPN having worked at Erlanger Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Comer and Bertha Nelson; and her husband of 25 years, Wilburn A. Cothran. Survivors include her daughter, Beulah (Olean "Tubby") Wooten, of Chattanooga; brother, James W. "Bill" (Betty) Nelson, of Trenton, Ga.; granddaughter, Robbie H. Copeland, of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Whitney Jacks, of Orlando, Fla.; Larry "Trey" Copeland III, of Memphis, and William "Chase" Copeland, of Chattanooga. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Johnny Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery. Special thanks to Kent Womack and the staff at Woodhaven Senior Living and the ladies from Tapestry Hospice. Visitation is Noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, prior to time of service at the funeral home.
