Loucinda Payne McRoy, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.She was an exemplary Christian, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, having served as Sunday school president and teacher for over 50+ years. She retired from JCPenney, after many years of service.In addition to her parents, Charles and Eula Payne, of Decherd, Tenn.; she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. McRoy; her brothers, Huling Payne, J.C. Payne and Curwood Payne; and sister, Evelyn Payne.Survivors include her sister, Maggie (Joe) Crownover, of Chattanooga; brother, David (Reba) Payne, of Decherd; sons, Bill (Gail) McRoy and Ronnie McRoy; daughter, Charlotte (Charles) Peek, all of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace followed by 2 p.m. with Rev.
