Margaret Gilbert

Margaret Monger Gilbert, 80 of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at The Hospice Care Center.She was a resident of NHC nursing home facility for the past 10 years, and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Gilbert; parents Pete and Sallie Monger; brothers, Dick, Glenn, Charlie, Joe and Claude Monger.Survivors include sons, James (Missy) Gilbert, of Ooltewah; John Gilbert, of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Leslie (Jeff) Fore, of Harrison; brother, Raymond (Joyce) Monger, of Ooltewah; four grandchildren, Jordan (Phillip) Arthur, Sarah Gilbert, Chloe and Preston Fore.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Jones officiating.Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
