Constance Swanson

Constance "Connie" Dolores Swanson, 92, departed this life for her heavenly home Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.Beloved wife of the late Chester "Chet" Swanson.Loving mother of Judy (Larry) Zehnder, Erik (Pamela) Swanson, Kirsten (Tom) Miley and the late Christopher Swanson. Devoted grandmother of Stephen (Laura), Chip (Emily) and Jeff (JoAnna) Zehnder, Jessica, Sarah and Caroline Swanson, and great-grandmother of four.Connies family extends thanks to many friends and caregivers for the kindness and compassion that helped make her days as comfortable as possible: Margie Love, Sharyn Mysinger, Tonita Jenkins, Carrie Harris, Carri Smith and Pastor Barry Hildebrandt of Christ Lutheran Church in Chattanooga; the Hospice of Chattanooga team: Amy Latham RN, Shannon Miller, Faedra Fisher McKitrick and Dr. Galina Rader. Before Connie became immobile, the staff at OCharleys in Hixson went over the top to make her evenings out so special; some even came to cheer her when she could no longer venture out.
