CLEVELAND Edwin G. Jackson, 81, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital.He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Vernice Gravitt Jackson who passed away on Nov. 4, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Ray G. Jackson and Bessie Lee Pickett Jackson; and brother, Billy Jackson.Survivors include his children, Larry Jackson and wife, Donna and Vickie Sharp and husband, Andy, all of Cleveland; grandson and special caregiver, Derrick Jackson and wife, Diane, of Cleveland; other grandchildren, Timothy Sharp and wife, Chrystal; Christina McKenzie and husband, Eric, all of Cleveland, Jeff Jackson and wife, Katie of Conroe, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brianna Jackson, Tucker Sharp, Baylon Jackson, Bryson Jackson, all of Cleveland, Sydney Jackson, of Conroe, Texas; Lexi McKenzie, of Cleveland and Ellie Jackson, of Conroe, Texas; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Daykota Smallen and Gracie Turner, both of Cleveland; two sisters: Colleen Payne and Marjorie Massengale, both of Chattanooga.Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev.
