Ola Mae

HENAGAR Ola Mae Burns, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.She was a lifelong resident of Henagar, and was a member of Henagar Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Burns; and parents, Bonnie and Robert Troxtell. Survivors include her son, Tony (Shelby) Cook, of Henagar; two daughters, Martha Cook (Harold) Morrow, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Pam Cook (Frank) Hall, of Dalton, Ga.; three grandchildren, Amy Allen Lindsay and Chris Allen, of Dalton, Ga., and Whitney Smith Barrett, of LaFayette, Ga.; brother, Anthony Troxtell; two sisters, Estelle Handcock and Edna Parish; four great-grandchildren, Alexa Jade Barrett and Bella Rose, David and Kaitlynn Lindsay; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Memorial services will be held graveside at the Fuller Cemetery, Ider, Ala., at 2 p.m. on today, Jan. 4, 2013.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
